I'm so grateful to have had my family at church last night. Kingston's first Christmas Eve service, and Aria's first time at church.
Blessed, blessed, blessed.
Here's a clip of Kingston during the service.
Ha! He blew those candles out over and over.
Joe and I are having a quiet morning with coffee and an egg, sausage and english muffin breakfast, then we'll head over to the kids place early afternoon.
We'll open gifts and have dinner... we were going to have the traditional Christmas ham with the trimmings, but when Kristiina went to the grocery store last night after the service to pick up the ham, they were closed. We're going to have her homemade pizza instead! Ha. Love it. (I love the silliness of having pizza for Christmas dinner... but seriously, I love her pizza!) It'll be perfect.
Enjoy your day. May you sense the presence of our Lord, Christ the King.
I seem to be stuck on Casting Crowns, but really, this morning it's just because I don't have time to go in search of another rendition (well, actually I do... but I don't want to) {grin}. This is convenient... and still nice.
Joy to the World , the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.
Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.
" Let every heart prepare Him room...."
