Pioneering Today-A Homemade Christmas - eBook Review

I was recently given the opportunity to take a peek at the new eBook by Melissa K. Norris, Pioneering Today-A Homemade Christmas.  What a wonderful treasure-trove of from-scratch recipes, holiday decorating ideas, and DIY gifts, not to mention tidbits from the heart of Melissa and what she loves about Christmas.  Plus, she enjoys vintage-y things... a girl after my own heart!

What I'm Making

On my agenda this evening is to make her Flaky Pastry Dough.  It sounds divine and I've been looking for a good, flaky pie crust.  I still have orchard apples to use up and I'll either make an apple pie, or a few apple hand-pies.  I've tried myriad crust recipes, and I've been disappointed every time. So I'm excited to try Melissa's - she makes it sound so easy and delicious.  It would have been ideal to have already made it so I could tell you how beautifully it came out, but alas, ample time always evades me and I didn't get to it this weekend.  I don't want to delay in sharing Melissa's book with you, though, as there are three great ways you can get your hands on it, one of which expires tonight. So....  I'm not waiting till the crust is done (but I will come back with accolades, I'm sure!).

There are many other things I'm eager to try, as well... such as her Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls, Cranberry Orange Glazed Cookies, Garlic Herb Oil, and the White Velvet Sugar Cookies. Mmmm!  She also has provided numerous sugar scrub recipes for gift-giving that I want to make; a tutorial for customized tea towels and homemade decorating ideas like the sparkle branches and pinecone bouquet.

This eBook is busting at the seems with all things good and here's how you can get a copy of your own.

It's a part of this terrific bundle which ends tonight (Monday, November 4th)!
